Patrina & Steven's Wedding Day

I recently had the great pleasure of capturing the images for Patrina and Steven's Big Day.
They were married in the old Pate Chapel on Thomas Road (classic) and held their reception at Tresca on 8th  (gorgeous).   I happen to LOVE shooting at both of these locations.

There were an awful lot of very special moments that day. Here are a few that I thought were particularly moving:
The girls share a time of prayer before walking down the aisle
...seeing his beautiful bride for the first time...

The very moment after sharing their very first kiss as husband and wife
Father of the Bride happily embracing his newly married "little girl"

The B&G catch a quick, tender moment to themselves

We did a few pictures at the church and then stopped off downtown to grab some fun, pretty shots with just the Wedding party. Thankfully, the rain held off and we used the nice diffused light to make some really cool images. I love the way the gals' pink dresses just "pop" in that lighting! The whole group was so fun and easy to work with---made my job especially enjoyable.

And here are a few more of my favorites from the reception:

My sincere thanks,  to the brand new Mr. and Mrs. for choosing me to play a part in your very lovely and lively wedding day. I've been so grateful for the opportunity to work with you and your terrific family and friends. God's blessings on your marriage!

P.S. Steven and his beautiful new bride are are going into ministry. I ask for the prayers of all who read this, that God might bless their service in a mighty way.
