Macayle

An old friend of the family called me up to book a portrait session for her beautiful, sweet granddaughter. She assured me that I would be amazed at the genuine sweetness and beauty of her precious little girl and indeed I was! On the day of the session, Miss Macayle came tripping into my studio like a  happy-blond-blue-eyed little ray of sunshine! What a sweetheart! In the studio, outside in the courtyard and then in the park she was patient and sweet natured and just a happy-go-lucky joy to work with. Half of the time, I didn't even have to pose her--she just naturally knew what to do. We all enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of running, twirling, swinging, giggling...oh, and we also took a few pictures, too!! Here are some highlights from our session:

A perfect little angel

Now this is what being 5 years old is all about: experiencing pure JOY at being asked to run down the sidewalk in your pretty dress!

Just look at those eyes!

Cutest expression, EVER!

I did not pose this. This is just how she sits. I almost melted from the sheer cuteness.

Laughing...

Thinking....

Twirling...

Swinging...

...sitting with her beloved Gi-gi

It was an absolute pleasure for me to spend time capturing this beautiful, joy-filled little creature and her sweet family. And I am happy that Macayle will always have these images to look back on and remember just how much her Gi-gi truly loves her.

Melissa and Charlie got Married

...on a lovely day in June. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and things were bustling at the beautiful Memorial Christian Church. The girls were busily putting on the finishing touches; laughing, chatting and snapping pictures. All of the meticulous planning was done and the day-of getting ready process was relaxed and happy.

The lush greenery made an absolutely perfect background for those gorgeous purple dresses

Workin' it!

The guys looked great, too.

There were so many pretty details to capture

It was hard to stop taking pictures of the Bride's shoes. They were just awesome.

Almost time!

The church looked magnificent and was filled to the brim with family and friends

A first look at his beautiful bride as she's escorted down the aisle by her father

The colors all came together so elegantly. It was a truly lovely service.

Notice the Best Man's reaction!

Their expressions in these next two are so sweet

The reception venue looked fantastic! Sparkling lights, colorful flowers and happy faces all around.  Tresca was really glorious that night!

This was a first: the Bride tossed the bouquet INTO the chandelier. It went up and never came back down!

The dance floor stayed packed, the whole night through

The newlyweds made their grand exit through a sparkling shower of birdseed and glitter

And the final picture of the evening...
My sincere thanks, to the Bride and her Mom for choosing me to play a part in your very lovely and lively wedding day. I've been so grateful for the opportunity to work with you and your terrific family and friends. May God bless the new Mr. and Mrs. in all their journeys through life!
